We took a day tour to St John island, which is mostly part of the Virgin Islands National Park. The island is much less developed and mostly pristine. We visited several alluring bays and beaches, taking a snorkel at Trunk Bay. The snorkeling path at Trunk Bay has underwater signs that explain marine life, pretty cool. We also explored the ruins of a colonial plantation. A Danish man participating in the tour helped explain the history of the island. This is a truly beautiful Caribbean island.
