We visited a Buddhist temple with a large dagoba, and a small mosque ruins dating back 700 years. My ancestors on my mother's side were muslim Arabs who migrated here in the 13th century. This is Zaiton port recounted by Marco Polo as the largest port in the world at the time, handling the bulk of the sea trade between China and the western world.
