London, United Kingdom

I went with my friend Clinton who was going to a conference in Newcastle, England. In London, we stayed at my friend's friend Gary's place. Visited some major sights and ate at Chinatown. The city is a hodge-podge of different styles and different periods, it's quite garish and somewhat run-down looking. Since I studied urban planning, I noticed that the long-distance train stations are within walking distance of each other, which gives it a small-town feel, but it's poor planning for a large city. Westminster Abbey has Martin Luther King Jr.'s statue as one of the saints, I thought that was remarkable.
